What the event raised

The SickKids VS Charity Car Show raised $6,767 for the SickKids Foundation, surpassing its $5,000 fundraising goal by 35 percent. On October 5, 2026, the organizers posted a "Charity Car Show Surpasses Its Fundraising Goal" update to the fundraising page. The page remains live for anyone who missed the day. Donations are collected directly by the SickKids Foundation (Charity Business Number 10808 4419 RR0001).

The organizers

MagBooths led the organization in partnership with the broader sponsor group. MagBooths is a GTA-based magazine-style photo booth outfit (Instagram @magbooths; bookings via reserve@magbooths.com). The event was built as a one-day, open-to-the-public gathering at the Porsche Experience Centre Toronto, with 100 percent of raised funds going to the SickKids Foundation. More than forty named donors contributed on the day, with individual contributions ranging from $5 to $1,300 alongside sponsor-level support.

Why Sapere co-sponsored

“Numbers tell you what a business values. We put ours behind SickKids because every family in Canada knows someone who has needed them. It was an easy call.”

Sarosh Zafar, Managing Partner, Sapere

Sapere's Mississauga head office sits roughly 45 kilometres from The Hospital for Sick Children in downtown Toronto. SickKids pulls patients from across Southern Ontario and well beyond, and the firm has clients and team members whose own families have relied on SickKids care over the years. Supporting a one-day event with a direct line to the SickKids Foundation was a straightforward decision.

Sapere does not disclose sponsorship amounts for community events. The point is to signal, consistently, that the firm shows up for causes rooted in the communities where its people and clients live.
